Tax Season Series: Intro To Income Tax

Tax Season Series: Intro To Income Tax

About this session:

In module one of this three-part tax season series, an official from the Ontario Ministry of Finance will explain the reasons why we should all file a tax return (even if we don’t owe tax), and why each of us should personally know as much as we can about the tax-filing process – even if you have someone do your taxes for you. Find out what many people say or question about the tax system, and what the answers are.

Participants will:

1. Discover the tax knowledge gap and its causes

2. Understand the tax system

3. Learn how to file a tax return and what information to include
