Copyright for Health Information Professionals (2/2)
Building on Copyright for Health Information Professionals Part 1, this webinar will provide participants the opportunity to apply copyright principles to real-life scenarios in the health information or health care environment. Presenters will provide feedback and discuss strategies for dealing with these scenarios.

 You will learn:

1) How to critically apply copyright principles to address scenarios encountered by health librarians and information professionals
2) What to consider when responding to more complex copyright concerns and issues
3) Where to find additional resources for teaching others about copyright.

About the presenters: 

Mélanie Brunet is the Copyright Services Librarian at the University of Ottawa. Her main responsibility is copyright education and outreach with faculty, students and staff. She offers presentations, workshops and consultations on copyright, Creative Commons licences, and open educational resources. 

Obianuju Mollel is a Senior Consultant in the Knowledge Management (KM) Department at Alberta Health Services (AHS). She provides learning sessions and consultations on copyright and recommended practices to both clinical and non-clinical professionals at Alberta Health Services. Prior to her current role, Obianuju taught Health Sciences Librarianship at the University of Alberta School of Library and Information Studies, and managed Capital Health Regional Library Services (now AHS Knowledge Resource Services).
